My View - an Illusion

Standing high on the peak

I looked down with a smirk

Being proud of myself

Bearing the burden of life itself

            Feeling contented,

            Getting frustrated,

            Being distressed ?

            Thinking enlightened!

I heard myself laughing loud

While looking down on the crowd

Struggling hard to top the peak

Charmed by the mystique!

I looked around to see

Alas! Found myself in a valley

Surmounted by many a peak

Oh! They all are in the same seek

Struggling hard to top the peak!

        Then I knew

        That a few

        Reach a hue

        An illusion, my view.
