A Mirage

        A MIRAGE

Were I in a dream?

A dream I wished to come true

No, it didn't happen so!

It was all my misled illusions!

My torch so truthfully

Twinkles from the heavens!

Let its light lead the path of the new!

For, my torch,my beloved's gift, hasn't lost its strength!

Though invisible it still shines from the heavens !

I was trapped in a maze, a maze of illusions

My vision was blurred because of my agony

Caused by the loss of my dear torch

I was misled by the sudden gleam of light

That I mistook, came from the heavens.

Alas! it was not there! Just it was a mirage!
